A collection of several backwaters on the north side of the Rogue River between Gold Ray Dam and Tou Velle State Park. These sloughs have produced some very large crappies andlargemouth bass. The easiest access is by boat that one can either motor or row back upstream from Tou Velle Boat Ramp. Small boats, canoes, kayaks or float tubes can be launched at Gold Ray Slough which runs along the railroad tracks on the south side of the river off Tolo Road. Kelly Slough is sometimes referred to as Gold Ray Forebay and vice versa.
