Looks like the local boy done good. A big congrats to the man from Orting! Heading into the final day for a chance at $500,000, he is sitting in 5th place. The list of pro's not continuing on to the final day reads like a who's who of competitive bass fishing, while Ron is making a name for himself. Way to go!

Way to represent the NW! I heard he didn't do too well on the last day. It's still a huge victory, lots of well name pros in that tournament.

yep couldnt find a keeper on the final day
he went for it all on the last day and tried his two spots but had milked them dry
He wanted to try and find some largies as well
still gets to cash a 45,000 dollar check and got his wish to ride in the blackhawk helicopter
4 of the final 6 were west sticks
Shows how good anglers out here r

Congratulations to Ron on an amazing accomplishment. I had the opportunity to fish with Ron for several days on the California Delta last year followed by a couple days on Clear Lake. His instinctual ability to find fish is utterly ridiculous. His ability to catch them is equally impressive. Plus, the success he has achieved couldn't happen to a nicer guy. Well done, Jr.!
