"Fish Tickle" for Trolling Trout
Does "Fish Tickle Scent" really work for attracting more strikes on the troll? I am thinking about trying it out tomorrow or Sunday on Lake Washington for cutthroat, just not sure if this could help or actually worsen my results.

I've only tested them in the salt and had good success that day. It's always tough to know if it was the scent or just good fortune, IMO. You'd have to run two boats in the same area with identical setups to really have a fair test. Bottom line for me is I don't think the scent hurts and the Fish Tickle system is pretty easy to use. Let us know how you do!

If it doesnt work, you can fill the holder with some thing like smelly jelly or pro cure jell.
I know those scents work.

Oil-based scents will dissolve soft plastics. It takes a while, but it's not pretty.GeryG wrote:If it doesnt work, you can fill the holder with some thing like smelly jelly or pro cure jell.

I think I'll try to use it on Monday connected to my pop gear. It can't hurt. I'm not going to put Smelly Jelly in there, I think the Fish Tickle will work just fine. We'll see. I will report back with my results.HillbillyGeek wrote:Oil-based scents will dissolve soft plastics.
