We're getting low on the reusable tube containers and will need to make a decision on the next round of packaging for the small and medium spinners.

I'm considering a folding clamshell this time around and I'll need to design a backing card. Here's a few choices I found so far.

1. Small Pike on bank


2. Base of Longs Peak

3.Sweet colored Bluegill

4. Brown Trout skin closeup

5. Wilderness Beaver Pond

6.Bluegill Fish Tail

7.Another Bluegill crop


I kind of like the pike rock best. The rock looks like a moon and gives a good palette backdrop for brand text. That pumpkin seed bluegill is really colorful and I always like Brown Trout skin too, just need to find a few more.

I'd be interested if any stood out as a favorite in your opinions. Take a look and feel free to comment. I'm still hunting through jpgs.

I concur, Pike with rock is my choice.

1 or 2 would be my picks.

Yes 1 is nice. Though I also like 2, 4 and 6

Use them all. Intermix them with different sizes/types of the spinners.

#2 or #5, they really show more than the others what fishing and the great outdoors are about. You don't need a fish on the package to show that the lures catch fish. Good luck![thumbup]

Looking like that Pike closeup for the most popular model. There are about 8 models that could get their own picture depending on what the print run prices are.

I agree with the comment about scenery importance and am still looking through my photo's to find some with water, sky, trees in a color on top that would allow brand text to show up.

When I put the Pike in the clamshell it looked very dark and lost most of its eye appeal.

Here's another option. Draw it myself. This one models the custom wooden displays we sell spinners out of in small tackle shops always found along the way in route to our favorite fishing destinations.



It's a work in process and I have more cleanup, but after finding I could model a woodburned affect with hand drawn lines, I was on the way.

Check it out. Not certain of the color, I might need to opt for a brighter Pantone, but who knows. I can print on some glossy paper and see how it shows up next to others on the wall. White circle will go, opting for a round cornered box like the raised spinner compartment's shape.
