Getting Settled

Hello to everyone. I posted back in June that I was moving out here from MN. Well I have been out here for a month or so and things are finally settling down some, ie.,house, daycare, work, etc. So I think I may get a chance to wet a line soon.
I live on FairChild AFB, so am trying to solicit any info I can get on lakes in the area that may be worth trying. I have a canoe and a 14 ft Lund. Thanks in advance for any info.
Oh yeah, I am basically a walleye, bass and pike guy. Any info on tactics for trout would be greatly appreciated!!

Welcome to Washington!
Lake Roosevelt is a good Walleye fishery.
Newman, Liberty, Eloika, and Long Lakes are good for Bass.
Newman has a few Tiger Muskies.
Pend Oreille River is starting to get quite a few Pike, I hear.
Fishtrap Lake will limit ya out by Noon for trout. Two marshmellows and a hunk of crawler.

I just realized on my home computer I automatically get logged in under RozMan, but at work I could not log in under that username, even after lost password request etc. So MarcusA and Rozman are the same motivated fisherman.

Instead of listing several lakes, go to the home page of this site and scroll down to the map of the state. Click on Spokane Co. and the counties surrounding it. It will bring up the lake index for each county. When you select a lake, it will give you a brief discripton of the lake and fishing reports. Many of the lakes in eastern Washington have both spiny ray and trout. If you find a lake that interests you and want to get more info on it, post a question on the forum and there will be someone who will reply that knows the lake very well.
BTW, fishing in the N.W. in the fall is great. Have fun.o:)

Ditto, and I'll bet the either Marc or myself have fished the body of water near Spokane this year (LOL) (120 lakes within 60 miles, I don't think so).
Still, pick your species, pick your lake, then post a question.
You can also go to the reports and check out the Lake in question, there are a lot of good past reports to help as well.:compress:

Thanks for the info guys, I am chomping at the bit to get out. Mom In Law just flew in from MN so I have the babysitter covered. Just need to pick a lake. Thanks again.
