Lake Tapps To Be Drained This Fall

This may be common knowledge but it's the first I've heard of this:

"Lake Tapps is full again, and will remain that way for the next several months of recreation season.

But starting this fall, residents of the scenic East Pierce community will see water levels drop to their lowest in more than a decade."

They drain the lake every year.... What's the big news? It's fun to watch the Yocals get out on the lake in/on the their trucks and bikes. Funny how fast mud will stop a truck or a bike.
