Thinking about buying a motor but it has an issue I'm unaware of the solution. The problem is told to me that it runs fine but the oil light goes off after a minute of running indicating low pressure when it should be fine. What could the problem be. Thanks for any info

It's pretty hard to give advice without knowing all the specifics. What motor? Year? HP? Four stroke? 2 stroke?
I would take a wild guess that it could be a simple fix - maybe just the sensor thats bad or a loose wire or connector, plugged filter, wrong oil, etc ....or.... it could be major. Like a bad oil pump or completely worn out engine.

Oil light should go "off" after motor is running, unless you mean the light comes "on". Without more info, impossible to diagnose or suggest a course of action.

15 horse four stroke long shaft. Honda around early 2000s model. Tiller handle. Says light goes off but he hasn't returned my email yet.
