"TAZ"ing up a few "myron lake" trout

Post by panfisher » Tue Feb 10, 2009 9:07 pm

went to myron lake for 11/2 hours using a childs TAZ fishing pole. caught these two 14" and 15" rbw trout. the ice was 3-4" thick. saw someone out in the middle several days ago but i didn't think the ice was good enough to go out that far.

Excellant job there panfish! Looks like your close to shore in the shallow, uh. I'm assuming you thawed them out when you got home and into the pan? nice winter trout

Fly Fishing is the art of attaching a fake bug to a line and relying on the appropriate manipulation of the rod to deceive the fish into eating a sharp steel hook covered with feathers and fur.

at least through this next week. been in the 20's at nite/40's during the day. there is open water that you can get to by walking the path that goes around it if the ice is not safe.
