search reports for species.

Post by JT26 » Sun May 11, 2008 8:55 pm

I keep on looking at reports for a bunch of lakes to see how bass is and has been in the past, but most lakes now are full of trout reports.
Maybe a way to make it easier to find reports of types of fish would be when you click on a lake name a scroll bar could come down listing the species, and you click on the species you want to read reports on. Off course, it would have an any species part too..
Sound good?

Someday. We've been gathering that kind of info on a per report basis for the last year, but it is not required info. Also, the previous 10 years reports don't have that info so i't really not that useful.... yet. I hope someday to get some volunteers together to go through the reports and define that information for each of our almost 16,000 reports. It will make our new up and coming report generator that muchmore usefull. Untill then, you'll have to resort to sifting through them manually.

I like this idea. Sounds like alot of work but would be beneficial in the end.
