I thought about that Bodo, I have one that I got for around the house and it works awesome for level/solid ground but the wheels are too small and no clearance for "off road". Try loading it up and running it through sand or gravel and you'll see what I mean.
Actually a buddy was razzing me the other day saying I should have put shocks and brakes on it. Told him I am waiting to find an old Segway to hack up - THEN you'll see a mobile cooler:bball:

I fish not because I regard fishing as being terribly important, but because I suspect that so many of the other concerns of men are equally unimportant, and not nearly so much fun. ~ John Volker

You could be a true Geekasaur if you hacked a Segway.
I was really thinking more along the lines of cutting the handle off for the telescoping action.

I use the same thing, strap 2 bungees to it, so far so good.
BTW they're at Costco for 20 or 25 bucks

Yeah I had a crappy little one that broke on me and I was down in SODO (Pecos Pit) for lunch and popped into Sears. Saw it and thought that one looks pretty robust and was peasantly supprized at $19.99 on sale when I got to the check out

Now I'm gonna have to go try them both. Anytime a BBQ Joint is named in the same sentence with Pecos I have to go. My other fave Rhodies has moved a couple times and I've lost track.....

Iron pig is ok - not as good as Pecos though, I go there to visit my sis. Slims though - definitely good stuff.
