Fried chicken works great too if you can get the unsold stuff at thr deli at the end of the day for cheap. Milks good in the water from all the grease & usually have some leftover for lunch ;)

Upper Vedder for October Kings. Make sure you have BC plates, and maybe use a float and yarn ball. Some people up there do not accept drift fishing as a viable technique, or someone from the ol USA catchin their fish.

Caught one blue like that with a rubber worm on a jighead. It's stomach was full of rocks. I wouldn't keep one again. I prefer Lingcod or Rockcod....

Daiwa Wilderness Downrigger rods are cheap and do the trick. Have had mine for 7 years or so and it works great. Got it for $10 on sale at Outdoor Emporium.

I have a Lowrance Elite 5 without the imaging features and love it. If I were a hardcore bass guy, I might have considered the imaging features...

So I've tried the clear drifting floats, and every time I use them I feel like I'm not setting my depth right because I can't tell how the float is moving since I can only see the Orange top. Has anyone else had issues with that? Any way to help out with that? I like the idea behind the clear float...
