It's off the Columbia, near Vantage. I've been told by a few people that it would work off to the side, but was just seeing if anyone had experience there.

Hey all. I've got a 10' boat with a 55 lb. trolling motor. Would I be able to get around this area without getting swept down river?

I m sure the current is variable, but just curious if I can find some of those river smallies without an actual gas motor.

Thanks. I took the drive figuring I could find some other lakes if it wasn't open. I ended up with a couple smallies before the sun came out and the pleasure boaters took over. Makes for an unpleasant feeling in my little 7' boat. So I headed home. Thanks for replying.

Hi, anyone know if the boat launch is accessible? The reason I ask is that Pine Lake says their park is open on the website, but when you get there, the parking lot is closed and you can't get to the boat launch. Here's the only other one that I know of, but they're in Vancouver and Victoria, Canada. Too bad the exchange rate isn't what it was 8 years ago.
