Re: Crescent Bar Access

It's off the Columbia, near Vantage. I've been told by a few people that it would work off to the side, but was just seeing if anyone had experience there.

Crescent Bar Access

Hey all. I've got a 10' boat with a 55 lb. trolling motor. Would I be able to get around this area without getting swept down river?

I m sure the current is variable, but just curious if I can find some of those river smallies without an actual gas motor.

Thanks in advance for any replies.

2 Fall Tournaments

Hey guys and gals. I'm trying to generate some interest for these upcoming tournaments that I have taken a part of the last few times. I like a few things about them: You fish when you want as long as it's public waters, whenever you want Friday to Sunday Tourney is based on your 5 longest fish, not...

ConnectScale Bass Tournament

Hey all, I have no stake in this, but I figured I'd put it out there as a fun way to get some people involved and it's a cheap way to enter a tournament. Starts Friday to Sunday. Check out the link for more details. It's only $26 for non members and you get to fish where ever you want in the NW regi...

Re: Sawyer Boat Launch Open?

Thanks. I took the drive figuring I could find some other lakes if it wasn't open. I ended up with a couple smallies before the sun came out and the pleasure boaters took over. Makes for an unpleasant feeling in my little 7' boat. So I headed home. Thanks for replying.

Sawyer Boat Launch Open?

Hi, anyone know if the boat launch is accessible? The reason I ask is that Pine Lake says their park is open on the website, but when you get there, the parking lot is closed and you can't get to the boat launch. Just want to make sure I don't drive an hour to be turned around. Need to catch me some...

Re: FeelFree Moken/Lure 10 Kayaks

Here's the only other one that I know of, but they're in Vancouver and Victoria, Canada. Too bad the exchange rate isn't what it was 8 years ago.

Here's a site that claims to carry them. Not sure if they do, but they've got 3 stores in Washington.

Re: Need a back-up LMB lake near Fall City/North Bend

Bob, Rutherford is no longer accessible. Some rather inconsiderate "gentleman" bought the access road and put up no trespassing signs all over the place. I hear he is quite the peach, prosecuting anyone that parks on the road or tries to ride their horse to the Snoqualmie trail. I really wanted to f...

Re: Need a back-up LMB lake near Fall City/North Bend

Lake Alice actually does have some very nice bass in it, but 2 years ago they sprayed for weed control and I haven't hooked any since. I was thinking of starting again this year as from what i've heard, the bass go deep and won't come shallow until the chemicals have dispersed. Which I have also hea...

Deep Hooked Fish

So i'm curious as to get some input about deep hooked fish. I catch and release all of my bass but I would be interested to know from anyone who might have better knowledge on the subject what the survival rate of deep hooked fish is roughly. I have a tool from Rapala that has allowed me to recover ...

Trolling Motor Battery Preference

Looking for help to purchase a new battery for an 8' boat and looking for something with a 6-8 hour life for 2 people. Recommendations????????? So far looking at Sears Die Hard Marine batteries. Also a recommendation for a charger that won't burn down my home.

Thanks ahead of time.

RE:Are Lake Cassidy bass stunted?

I was thinking the same thing about one of my local lakes here in Carnation, same thing as Cassidy trout stocked, great cover and such and all I could pull out was 8-12"ers. Until this year that is. This year the fish are bigger, fatter and stronger and I'm not seeing as many of the little guys, so ...

RE:Hook Removal

I have used the flip gun and it works rather well and quickly. I was skeptical when I bought it because after all it is pink, but it works. The only thing I would recommend is to pick up a few as the break down rather quickly being almost all plastic. I was given a better constructed (forged aluminu...
