Re: 2019 Not Quite Trophy But Still Nice Bass Pictures Gallery

Re: Lake Cavanaugh Fishing opportunities

That lake looks real bassy. I've scoped it out bidding work up there the last couple weeks. And I have a friend who has seen bass but couldnt get them to react. Water is really clear so I'm sure that makes them harder to catch. I may give it a shot in the summer once it warms up a bit. Either it's n...

Re: Say it isn't so, no Marine Area 8-1/8-2/9 blackmouth?

I wonder if there are any new rules for the tribes for these fisheries. Nooksack and the stilly are known (by myself) to have LOTS of netting which I'm sure doesn't help. At least the wife will be happy I wont be salt fishing all winter this coming season.. I assumed there would be more strict regs ...

Re: location info

Agreed on researching lakes and the reports. More filters like in the past was much easier (county, alphabetical, species, specific months, etc.). Sometime to find a lake I have to endlessly scroll through pages...

Re: Sponsors hurting site

I'll take a local fishing report from anyone, keeps me informed on what's going on since I'm not on any other social media outlets such as facebook. In my opinion there isnt an overflow of reports or anything so doesn't bother me at all. And yes the pop ups are no good but I manage.

Re: Early season bassin

Well gave lake washington a try today. Used various tactics mostly drop shot 35 to 65 ft. Ended up dropshotting night crawlers 60 to 85 ft and came up with lots of nibbles, 2 small perch and a trout. Great day to be on the water, plenty of fisherman out there. Mostly focused near south side of Merce...

Early season bassin

Anyone giving bass a shot recently or going to soon? I'm thinking of giving some shallower muddy lakes a try in the next week or so later in the day time. I'm hoping some high 40 temps in the day will warm smaller or shallower lakes a little sooner than others. Probably focus on some open water slow...

Re: Snow...

Steelheading is keeping me busy. Iced guides and tromping through 15” of snow is getting exhausting though. At least you've been doing some fishing! Steelhead is the one thing I've been not going after for the last couple years. I'm not lazy but their too much work haha for me at least, hard to pin...

Re: Brands of welded hull boats..?

Looking for a used welded boat...….. Well, Hewes has the market by far but that's because of contract production, they have the numbers. Does it mean they're the best manufacturer, they have the numbers. Since you're looking at a used one, that just means lots of searching and looking. You might ev...

Re: 2-stroke motors, huh??

Not sure why to specifically have one besides they're less expensive typically, maybe some others have reasons why..? I have friends with them and they dont mind them. In my experience of having 2 strokes and being on boats with them is they are just a bit more of a pain like you said haha. Typicall...

Man oh man I am sick of the snow... we have some where over a foot here in Marysville and expecting who knows how much more. I never thought I'd say I am sick of snow and bored out of my mind lol. The construction company I work for is on week 2 of no work, luckily I'm salary. I can get around with ...

Re: Brands of welded hull boats..?

I was close to getting an alumaweld talon but ended up with an 18ft intruder which I absolutley love. It's a 1999 and I've had it for almost a year, it been in salt and on lakes almost every weekend since I bought it, no joke. Most people think it's a newer boat too since it's so well taken care of ...
