Wanted: Bass Boat
Hey all, Thought I'd throw this out there since the market is low at the moment. I'm looking for a nice bass boat under $30k. Ideally 175hp or higher and 18 ft long or longer also MUST be 4 stroke. Let me know if you know of anything or anyone interested in selling. I've been keeping my eye out on c...

Re: Fall Salmon Fishing Puget Sound Area
I catch coho in the rivers until January almost February every year, lots are dime bright ones too (not that I can keep them that time of year since I'm steelhead fishing and they're not open). The water has been hit and miss since I am busy working M-F.. either blown out or too low it seems. But th...

Re: Washington lake lodges? Looking for new ones to try.
Spectacle lake resort in tonasket. Great low key place. Has a convenience store, great owners, and great fishing. I have been going there almost every year my entire life and just love how relaxing it is away from the hustle and bussle we live in on the west side. Fishing is lights out over there co...

Re: Salmon Steelhead Rod/reel Under $150
Shimano Sahara 2500 is my go to for reels, I have like 6 lol use them for bass and salmon. Get an ugly stick for budget purposes probably. I do enjoy my okuma SST but have broken like 3... mostly being an idiot snagged up on stuff... my new favorite rod is a lamiglass X11 8ft 6inch 8 to 12 lb. but y...

Boat window replacement
My buddy had one of his front windows on his 2015 Duckworth break out. Duckworth doesnt have replacement windows and there has been 9 local glass companies that have not been able to provide the correct type of tempered glass. Does anyone have any recommendations for window replacement? Shop or comp...

Re: Crabbing 2020
I havent been out lately, but opener at utsalady was on fire. There was lots of big Dungeness all hard shell. We threw back alot of keepers. People we knew pulled up one pot with about 3 limits in it while we were out there. Im hoping to maybe go again soon but I've been busy bass fishing due to low...

Maybe you found a cannibalistic tribe of bass haha they just feed on the smaller ones. "Baby Bass" can be one of the best colors for bass lures!

Re: Smelly Walleye?
I have noticed at certain times on certain lakes I can smell fish. Not sure if there is one dead on shore up wind of me or if my subconscious is playing tricks on me as well haha. Not sure how to explain it though. Also I'm rarely on lakes with walleye.. I think your on to something though..

Re: WDFW closes sportfishing statewide
How come there are many boat launches still openly operating for pleasure boats but if you cast a pole out your breaking the law? Seems pleasure boating is much more of a social activity to me... a few photos of a fishery or two being crowded dictates the law for all fisheries in the state? Ridiculo...

54 to 55 degree surface temps is when I start hooking into the bass more regularly. But like you said it varies year to year. I sure hope this ban is lifted May 4th, I'm taking the day off for fishing haha

Fishing pole repair suggestions?
Hey all, Glad to see the forum is back! Question: I have 2 poles in need of minor repairs. One has a missing plastic piece on the last eye so its bare metal. Another pole I have has a similar issue where the plastic piece on the inside of the last guide eye has been chipped/damaged so when in use my...

Re: Whatcom Creek - Bellingham Wa
I know its early too. Thanks for the heads up. Hopefully they show and I can get a chance to run up and give it a shot a day or two in Nov. I'm still chasing coho around but with the rains coming most rivers are going to be unfishable. My local river is already blown out like crazy after yesterday.....

Well I figured I'd post to see if the chum are going to show this year or if anyone has heard/seen them showing up? The last 2 years were dismal compared to previous years, I'm curious if this is a trend or they're going to show up in full force this year. Thanks in advance for any info!

Re: What to do ... with Chum Salmon
My favorite thing to do with chum is catch and release them till my arms get sore! Also, I've had a local let me try some of his cajun smoked chum while fishing once and that was good. Might be something to look into..? Or just smoke it up nice if you get some bright fish. If their bellies are dark ...

Re: Tacoma - Advice/Tips for a Tennessean
1 tip is make sure you read the regulations carefully for washington. They can be a bit confusing and in depth but many streams and creeks have their own regs and may not be open. I'd buy a reg book and spend a little time reading. Other than that do some research online for public access areas with...

Re: 2019 Not Quite Trophy But Still Nice Bass Pictures Gallery
Got a nice plump 4.5 lber (19.5") a few days ago on a cold drizzly morning. She straightened one of the hooks out on the front treble. Couple of aerials, put up a great fight! Swam off strong. Bad picture, hard to get a good pic by yourself sometimes haha
