RE:Bleeding Trout

i have always used a stringer and keep the fish in the water, but it is just how i have been raised for fishing. i do clean them where i caught them though, so they don't have the guts inside for the ride home. i guess i should try some of these other methods soon and see if the fish comes out tasti...

RE:Laser Lure

seems like something nice to try but at $20 for the one lure, it better be good enough to replace 4 existing lures. how long would the battery hold up before it needs to be replaced, and can the battery be replaced?

RE:double spinner

so essentially it looks like a few beads with dual spinners on a trebble hook. i havent tried the double spinner, but i have a lure that is a single hook that is a fly on the hook, with the beads, and a single spinner, and it did me quite well yesterday. i would think that a double spinner on it wou...

RE:Lake Lenore

I was at Lenore about 4 years ago at this time with some friends. the 3 of us were trolling from a small boat with an electric motor. between the 3 of us we got 5 fish, and 3 of those were mine. i was using a medium sized rainbow flatfish just under the surface for 2 of mine, and a wedding ring for ...

RE:Any info for Priest Lake Idaho?

I was talking to a friend of the family who has a cabin out there, and she said that the best time is late winter to early spring for the big ones.

RE:Now this is a young man!!!

Is that at Sarvey? i used to volunteer up there, and got to learn more about many of the animals up there. at one point i had to get one of the young bald eagles. luckily it was in a cage inside the building, but they are so big once you get close up to them. i was also lucky enough to get into the ...

launch from a trailer with 2 people that pick the boat up off the trailer and carry it. Marth Lake over on 164th has an actual boat launch and is pretty close to silver lake.

Jump Off Joe Lake if you are up on the north end near mead is an easy access and small lake. dont fish it deep or you will catch the plants and lose a lure or 2.

i was there with my dad and grandpa and pulled one out last august or so.

BBQ Salmon

So this is one i have been using for a few years, and has always been a success. first get out a piece of aluminum foil that is enough to wrap the entire fish and throw the salmon fillet down toward one end and curl the edges up to make a little bit of a boat for it. in a bowl, mix some mayonnaise a...

I am planning a quick trip to McMurry on April 27 with my fiance and her sister. Just after opening day, so it shouldn't be completely fished out, and on a monday, so it shouldnt be completely packed. I am going to try to be up around 6:00 AM, maybe a little earlier. I was up there on opening day a ...

Lake Stickney is small enough that you should be able to cast out most of the way, and it is right down off 128th street. Marth Lake is off 164th, and it a bit bigger but has public docks to fish from. Silver Lake in south everett is ok to fish from, but not really worth it. Lake Stevens is not wort...

RE:~Post your CLEAN-JOKES here!~

This may be on the edge of what is actually allowed here, but it is fitting for a fishing group.

Give a man a fish and he will eat for a day.
Teach a man to fish and he will sit and drink all day.

RE:Who fish's private lakes?

So im new here, but just poking around. One of my friends lives on her parents property between mill creek and clearview, and they have a small pond on it. The pond is maybe 6 feet deep at the deepest point, but i doubt it. they put a fountain in the middle of it. it is probably 30 feet across at th...
