Any of the small lakes over there. Don't remember the names, and I've never fished any of them. Tapps of course can be great.

Re: Spring Bass
As far as the 'time', any day now they should bite better. I saw my first Bass shallow the other day, of course those don't bite, they are cruisers that are thinking spawning, but it's too cold, but it never hurts to toss a worm at them. Water temp is 53 plus so keep at it. Your top location would b...

Re: Afraid of Fishing the river alone
Do you have a depth finder with chart to look for the shallow flats and main channel so you stay in safe water? Fishing-n-Map Company has maps for the river. Lowrance and Humminbird have charts on their finders so you can see where the channel is. And the depth of the side bays and shallow areas. An...

I presume you mean for salmon and/or steelhead. Or are you thinking of Bass and panfish too?

Re: Spinning Reel Advice
I like my Shimano Symetre 2500FL, Shimano Syncopate 2500FG, and Shimano Stratic 2500FJ trigger reels, $39 each. And my Daiwa Tierra 2500, and Daiwa Fuego 2000SH non trigger reels, $100 plus each if I remember correctly.

edit: look for the 'pencil' to the right by your name. click on pencil, edit post by deleting each word, etc. to do so, sweep curser over all, right mouse key - select all, right mouse key - delete all, something like that. I don't see a clickable button to delete the whole post.

Re: Sawyer Boat Launch Open?
Well, 2 is better than nothing. :-) I've been stuck with 1 or 2 a few times this year. I try to leave the lake an hour, or 2, before the pleasure boaters get there, before the speed limit goes up at 11am on weekends and holidays.

Maybe the company can help, call them and try. The Shimano company has been helpful to/for me, maybe the Shakespeare company will be.

Re: New to bassin and lake washington. Help!!
Do you have a fishing map of the lake? You need to get a 'Fish-n-Map Co.' map with GPS. You'll be able to find your own spots with that map. To start fish the north points of the 'river' into Union Bay, and the cut into the Montlake Cut channel and thereon. Also Juanita Bay, Yarrow Bay and those fin...

Re: New to bassin and lake washington. Help!!
I don't know anything about N. Lake Washington. You can start by watching the videos here on Northwest Fishing Reports. And smallie fishing on Youtube. It was be a great idea to watch Tactical Bassin on Youtube. GREAT fishing techniques and lure explanations and how to fish them. If you live close e...
