Re: report comments
That's true, I forgot. And the secret spot report didn't show up when I looked for it after I posted a comment, to see if there were other comments to it. So I guess it takes a few minutes for the new comment to show up. I'll look again.

report comments
looks like the 'report comments page' aren't even in order. the date of the reports jump up and down with nothing common to the date posted or fished.

report comments
is there going to be a comments list for reports that have recent new comments after the report has been posted? like there was before under the reports drop down menue. and I don't like the new format of the reports, takes too long and too much scrolling looking for only only specie to read about. ...

Re: Pike in Lake Washington? Pike in the Clearwater river in Idaho?
I knew a guy at work that said he put walleye in Lake Washington. But one or 5 fish aren't going to make a large population.

Re: Mandate Barbless Hooks For Lake Sammamish
Bass fishing and crappy/perch fishing on Sawyer has been going downhill since the mid '90s, since Black Diamond's sewage treatment plant failed, I think in '92, and poisoned the lake. Use to have bright green grass all winter, now MOST of the grass is brown or black and smells BAD all summer, and al...

Max depth of Meridian is 90 feet, and not a whole lot of it at that depth.

Re: Mandate Barbless Hooks For Lake Sammamish
The ONLY way to 'fix' it is to to breed MILLIONS of the fish and stock the lake, and lots of other lakes too. barbless hooks won't work for BEANS! stopping fishing for those fish and/or any other fish in the lake will do NOTHING for the fishery, just piss of THOUSANDS of anglers! not to mention the ...

Re: Mandate Barbless Hooks For Lake Sammamish
it's very stupid to generalize for all Sammamish fish! even the wdfw knew it when they did it for a while a few years ago. very inefficient and they did away with it because someone in the dept finaly smartened up. Amx, know that I recommend my afore mentioned barbless hook restriction across all f...

Re: Early season bassin
Drag a swim bait on the bottom and slow swim it off the bottom, drag a skirted jig on the bottom, dropshot slowly, yes drag a spinnerbait on the bottom as well as slowly swim it. Don't forget to slow swim shallow and mid depth crankbaits over rocky areas.

YUp, we all does, one set from each parent. I don't know why haploid was even mentioned in the one article that I read earlier, or which article it was in. :-) But that's ok, big trout = big trout, Trip or Dip. lol
I think I'm going to bed early, been thinking too much and too hard. LOL

Re: Our Friend the Furnance
My research says diploids have double the amount of chromosomes. Haploid have single number, like native fish? Or is a Dip a native fish? And yes the Trips are suppose to be sterile, but the males can grow gonads and 'try' to mate/spawn which can screw up the native males from spawning, so I read a ...

Re: Our Friend the Furnance
But I catch them now and then, by pure accident. lol The biggest were about 5 pounds, and 2 of those in one day a couple minutes apart in the spring. I HAVE to get pictures of those fish some day. But I just want to get them back in the water real quick so never got pictures. One person at the lake ...

Re: Our Friend the Furnance
Very good the dogs didn't die. In the '80s a woman I knew lost many puppies because her furnace was bad. She and her boyfriend had colds for awhile. Her father came over one day and found both of them unconscious in bed. He dragged them outside and called 911. The firemen said they were very lucky. ...
