Re: Creating Bass Structure

I have been planting structure for years, nothing like a few "Pickle Barrels" sunk at day break.
Quite effective and easy to make.

Re: Clear Lake Break In

Bisk1tSnGraV Crooks are everywhere, if you can't leave your car door unlocked you have too many valuables sitting in the parking lot. Times are tough, losers and addicts are the norm at most of the launches I frequent. Sorry for your loss, I realize it's more than money, those rods and reels have hi...

Re: internet fisherman ''do you fish''

So are you saying you are not a "real" fisherman unless you a failure at college or relationships? Bah. My grandma raised 5 kids, was a school teacher and started/ran a cattle ranch. She fished whenever she could until the day she died. She didn't care who fished or how much, she didn't care about ...

Re: Bass Fishing Fidalgo Island

I noticed a lack of Bass reports recently also, I have not fished it recently, last time there maybe a season ago. It has always been good and with the catch and release mentality most Bass fisherman have I would expect the Bass population to still be there. This lake has the forage to support numbe...

Re: Duck Lake (Ocean Shores)

Duck has some real monsters when it comes to Bass. I have a topo map pinned up on my garage wall with a weed point marked where we catch 5-6 pound plus bass consistently. Even spent the night on the water several times. If you want info where this weed point that drops into deeper water is- PM me. P...

Never cut your backlash line no matter how bad it is. This works every time, sometimes it takes a handful
of trys to get it out.

Re: Mercury Outboard squeal

My 40 4-stroke does the same - I have isolated it to the upper(below the powerhead) driveshaft bushing. Pulled it apart and greased the bushing, has been quiet so far. Found it by spraying wd-40 up the shaft. rpm- when you say "pulled it apart" and greased the bushing. What or how do you get to the...

Mercury Outboard squeal

I have a 2000 50HP 2 stroke which occasionally develops a low emitting intermittent squealing noise at low rpm? The noise is a cross between a chirping bird and a car belt slipping, but not very loud. This squealing noise happens when in gear, if I change into neutral or change rpm it goes away, had...
