Northwest Fishing Reports

I do get tired of the "if it aint chrome, it don't go home mentality" I have caught so many fish that had some color or what some would call "boots", that were bright inside and either grilled or smoked that were raved about. It is fishing, guys...don't judge. Other boards do this.

Can't say about the Duwamish, but I've heard, witnessed, and experienced in other systems...green or chartreuse, with orange tossed in there. I don't know..it's fish and it's their environment and their mood. Experiment

NFCustom is right. It's a few miles from me and I won't touch it. It will get overrun, as it usually does. Can't say if fish are there. Get out and explore.

AMX brought up a point about license funds going to wherever. Several years ago, the state had a "warm water enhancement fee" that if you fished for warm water fish, you paid a little more. Not sure that those funds went anywhere to "enhance" bass or other warm water fish. I can't say I ever saw any...

If you need o-rings, check your local hardware store. I work at an Ace Hardware and our o-rings in that size range are .19 each. Another option if you are using Senko/Soft Stickbaits, and they tear, rig them from the tail end. Works just as well.

Funny on the largemouth record. How many have heard from others that someone has caught one over 13 lbs or have seen one 13 or 14 lbs in some lake? Or the one I like too... a county record? Is there such a thing?
