Re: ANY LAWYERS!!!?? I need help!!! Traffic camera!!
Being from Lynnwood I live in the land of photo traffic cams. So yes I know all about the flash of fear. Remember they will review the footage before they send the ticket. As long as the driver wasn't just entering the intersection when it turned red he/she will be clean. That means if say half way ...

Re: Questionable fishing techniques
//rant mode on I was originally going to avoid this topic for many a reasons. But to the person that "hates" downriggers what is one to do if trolling and trying to reach depths of maybe 125 - 160, all because your fish finder is showing fish in those depths? Or is the depth finder a no no in that p...

Re: Your Favorite Store for Fishing Tackle
Being in Lynnwood my list is: Teds Sporting Goods, Ed's Surplus, then John's Sporting Goods up in Everett. Then it would Outdoor Emporium (but I have to be reeled in to go to downtown Seattle) and then Cabellas up north. Finally we have the on line options.

Re: Anyone else :) getting a microsoft alert while on this s
I use to use Spybot Search and Destroy but combined with Windows 7 and I'm using Avast Free Antivirus. I'm not getting as much protection with Spybot as I use to. I tried some other Spyware program but it just ate up every drop of ram I had and dragged the system to a dead crawl. And I thought Norto...

Re: Anyone else :) getting a microsoft alert while on this s
@AJ's Dad - Pop up blocker on or not. The screen shot you provided is the exact same one the Trojan I referred to uses/lists. I'm surprised it's only happening at this site but still. Antivirus software isn't going to catch everything. You yourself is/are the first line of defense. More on the Troja...

Re: Anyone else :) getting a microsoft alert while on this s
The screen shot shown earlier looks like it is from one of the bogus Microsoft Security Essential Alert programs in existence. See link. http://trojan-killer.net/fake-mse-alert-now-spreads-system-care-antivirus/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; My recommendation is to download and inst...

Re: Sunscreen, hats and skin cancer.
My wife rides me like a broken down mule 'bout sunscreen and fishing. First off I hate the feeling of almost all moisturizes on my face and arms, so that extends to the feeling of sunscreen. I always have, or almost always have a tube of sunscreen on hand. Just don't want to use it until I have succ...

Re: salt water steelhead
Thanks for the 2 links. I too have heard they hit really close but I was told to use way less than 1 oz because of how close they hit.... so he whom has no Steelhead experience is confused. And I was also told don't bother with waders but maybe have boots unless you like getting your shoes wet.

In regards to the Bush Point part... what size hooks do you use. I'm swear I'm going to go fishing for Steelhead at Bush point one of these years.... and I hope it is this year.

Re: Spinning reel upside down?
I grew up uaing a spinning reel. The first any only baitcaster that I own has a left hand retrieve, and I'm right handed. Is this normal? Is it comfortable to cast with your right arm and then switch the rod over to your left side? I'm right handed. I cast right handed and do the switch-er-roo with...

Re: Spinning reel upside down?
I'm one of those right handed reel users, who actually can reel either left or right, I just prefer right hand. I mostly work with casting reels but do on occasion use the spinning reel. Anyways, short story long. I'm down at one of the lakes I occasionally fish and this guy is looking at me and he ...

Re: Lets talk Silvers.
One last stupid question I keep seeing 2 1/2 times the length of the flasher and then somebody will say 40 inch leaders. And I'm going waaaa those are huge flashers dude. So if I'm using a 11 inch red racer flasher (most common I use) the leader should be a bare minimum of 27.5? I use to use 32 inch...

Re: Lets talk Silvers.
One quick question on the squid n skirts. How long of a leader do you use for fishing the Silvers. I usually use coho killers with insanely (to me) short leaders unfortunately coho killers eventually turn into shake n' destroy and I don't really want to reduce numbers if I don't have to. I have used...

Re: Salmon limit on the sky
A limit is a limit once achieved he or she is done. Too bad you didn't take a cell phone photo of the guy and/or picture of them near their truck with license plate. Basically the guy is guilty of poaching (in my book) if he keeps fishing and keeps retaining after reaching said limit. :nemo: :fish: ...

Re: What is a good M/H trolling rod in your opinion
@Spokey9: I actually was considering both of those rods before the season started as potential trolling rods. They aren't out of my price range and still being considered (assuming I can find somebody who has them in stock right now).
I might look at the Diawa as well.... still searching.

What is a good M/H trolling rod in your opinion
If you read my Area 10 Fishing report post earlier today (08/25/2013) I had a Lamaglas rod altered from a 2 piece rod to a 3 piece. The rod was 8' 6" and as I noted in that post IT WAS NOT my favorite pole. I realize that the rod has a lifetime warranty against defects but I first have to find the r...
