RE:Appropriate fishing times at Banks
We fished Banks last year during Labor Day Weekend. Try dropshotting with small plastics in about 25 ft of water off the rocky shores and points. We caught tons of smb in the 2.5 - 3.0 range along with some good size perch. We stayed at the motel in Electric City and launched out Coulee Playground n...

RE:Batterys & Charging
The onboard charger uses an outside source for power, usually you carry an extension cord to plug it in at night so your batteries are fresh in the morning. It basically saves you from wrestling with a battery charger. In order to charge your batteries from the big motor, you have to have a selector...

Right On Gisteppo, I tried to explain all that last year on one of the threads. Just so you all know BP is the mfg. of ARCO AM/PM. Places like Costco, Safeway and Fred Meyer just buy their gas from the lowest bidder. Its all in the same Pipelines. You really can't believe that they could economicall...

B A S S Lunker Club
Just finished reading my March 2008 issue of Bassmaster Magazine and was pleased to see that the Honor and Reputation of the NW Fisherman was upheld by 2 gentleman from WA. A Vancouver fisherman caught a 6 lb. 1 oz. smb on the Columbia River and a 2nd smb was caught by a Puyallup citizen out of Lake...

Easy for you to say, coming from 90 degree christmas's and 80 degrees in january. I think I would look pretty silly sitting out on the lake in my boat on top of 8 inches of ice. What do you think WAYNE

I was reading the headline news on my home page when one caught my interest. VANDALS DESTROY MEMORIAL TO SERVICEMAN is what it said (not a quote, but close enough ) Seema a gentleman and his wife had erected approximately 3800 flags in their yard to honor the service men that have perished in the mi...

I would have to agree with Bassackwards on that one . Have you ever watched Jay Leno and the people he interviews on the Jaywalking all stars. Most people cant even remember who the VP was during Clinton's term.

RE:How are the high energy prices effecting you?
I can't say for sure, what I do know for sure is that the major gas refiners supply the gasoline for the outlets like Costco, 7-11, Circle K and most of the other major outlets. Even the mo-gas and the jet fuel for the military and their respective BX orPX stations get their gas from the major refin...

RE:How are the high energy prices effecting you?
Hi Sam, No I don't have any proof other than what my experiences have brought me. I drove gas and chemical trucks for almost 37 years and learned quite a bit about the petroleum products business. I would imagine that it wouldn't be so very hard , in the internet age, to verify it. A couple of other...

RE:How are the high energy prices effecting you?
I know that you guys won't believe this but the gasoline is the same. I used to drive a gasoline truck and we would constantly trade gas back and forth. If you delivered gas and there wasn't a terminal close by to reload you would load at whatever terminal had a working agreement with yours. Ever no...
