Also you can cross the river when its low enough on the very upper portion of the hole at Bob Heirman. Last year I crossed the river a few times lower past the stretch everyone fishes, but there were many deep holes to avoid and it was pretty sketchy, will not be doing that this year.

Last year I had decent luck at Thomas Eddy Park (Heirman Wildlife preserve) on the Snoho, usually lots of people though. I will be heading to the Skagit tomorrow myself!

Try using a deep 6 diver for trolling if you go that route. They work great when u don't have downriggers and dive deep. Good luck!
