look at the photo of the hatchery count vs the wdfw actual transfer count.... 233 fish off....? What are you trying to compare? The hatchery report has brood stock collected to date as of the cutoff date of their report (who know's when on the 11th this was finalized). The other has total fish trap...

Nope, the netting day was changed to the 5th - it already passed. Looks like the numbers are steadily picking up - 645 fish yesterday - should be over 1,000 per day by Sunday. To clarify, there is no scheduled opening for salmon on the Skagit this fall. The river closes on July 16 and doesn't reopen until December. No coho or pink fishing, period.

Latest news is a deal has been made, but they will be cutting it very close to get the budget signed on Friday.

Numbers on the skagit are not looking that great as of now of course that could change any moment but on contrary lake washington seems to be doing ok.
