Re: I think WDFW might be getting a little worried.....
The numbers I posted included no fees. Those numbers are what you start out at when you renew on the WDFW website. The numbers on the link you posted include estimated fees. Im assuming if you go through the entire process on the WDFW site, at least the State fees would be added in. Not sure about ...

Re: I think WDFW might be getting a little worried.....
I had one of those 'duh!' moments - log into your WDFW account and you can see what the fees are. They did go up. https://fishhunt.dfw.wa.gov/#/login" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; Combo went from 48.50 to 53.35 Crab went from 7.50 to 8.25 Columbia River Endorsement went from 7.50 -...

Re: Drive-up lake with a view of Mt. Rainier
Clear Lake, Mineral, Kapowsin, are all on the west side so that isn't the north. Nor is Mowich.
Lake Washington is north of Mount Rainier?

Re: Drive-up lake with a view of Mt. Rainier
It is high altitude so you have to wait until the snow melts on the roads getting to it.zen leecher aka Bill W wrote:Mowich is a drive to lake on the north side of Rainier. It's in the park but probably not open until June or so.

Re: Drive-up lake with a view of Mt. Rainier
You might try Clear Lake just north of Eatonville just off of SR 161. There are some great views of Rainer from that lake and the public boat launch would be on the correct side of the lake for the view, but I can't say if you have much of a view from the boat launch itself. Maybe someone here can ...

Re: Drive-up lake with a view of Mt. Rainier
I just was looking and thought, "That's quite a ways south!" No worries, I appreciate your help. I saw lake Mowich on the map, it looks to be a possibility. Has anyone ever been there? Yes, its a very pretty lake and you can drive right up. It has a campground there and is a popular spot for restoc...

Re: Rife fishing bridge?
Riffe has landlocked coho. I did not think they tasted terrible. They were great. So you might not like kokanee.
I never saw the worms as I filet the coho.
They are going to keep the pool level of Riffe low so I don't know about the fishing bridge and catching fish.

Re: Car tab renewal sticker shock
I am outside the district but I did the est. my tabs and found they are going up $30. Why? Are you in Pierce county Toni? Cause if so, you're in ST3 and will have an increase on your tabs. Bodo, my understanding is ST3 will be anxious to start spending money because once they do they can go to the ...

Re: Manure
Horse manure composts in a month if treated correctly and out of chicken, steer, rabbit or horse, horse grew the vegetables the best for me. I want to get some, too I never do chicken, just too hot. I've had ready supply of all of them + goats for many years. Rabbit has been by far the best for me....

Re: Petition for Open WDFW/Tribal NOF Meetings
Thanks Toni for the link. Very interesting article on the impact on the sport fishing retailers! I commented on the story and will try and reach out to Gabe Miller as well to see if SportCo and Far West Sports will help support the petition. My initial contact with them was less than supportive. Th...
