One simple thing that I like is that aren’t solely dependent on using the remote control hanging from your neck, in order to adjust steering or speed control. So if you are wearing the remote, bu...

Re: Ice cream maker - any recipe ideas?
Ellamella, I too have been bitten by the ice cream maker bug. I have the William Sonoma ice cream maker. It is AMAZING! It does not require ANY sort of putting the unit in the freezer. You literally pour all your ingredients into the machine, hit a button, come back and your ice cream is HARD. As fa...

Im laughing because by habit I wrote “RTT”
Because I am an RT(T) And people always think that my name badge stands for Respiratory Therapist, but I’m a Radiation Therapist.
Anyway, back to fishing.

Re: Quiet trolling motor
MPM, My system is 24V and 80lb thrust. Looking back at your original thread, I would agree that if the recipe you speak of is 3.5 MPH, windy, tide, etc. Then I would stick with a gas kicker. (One thing that just kills me on public messages boards is when people respond to threads and they answer bac...

Lake WA. Current bass action
Can anyone say how they are doing on Lake WA. currently on bass? Fish still moving up, or are you finding them fully up getting ready to be tucked into bed?
I was thinking of getting out Sunday.

Re: Quiet trolling motor
MPM, Yes, there are trade-offs between a kicker and top end electric like the Terrova, but when you wonder about losing power, I’m assuming that are not talking about on your cranking battery to your main gas motor... The Terrova is best setup to be running on 2 separate deep cycle batteries that ar...

@Lizardface,
Good history story. It would be hard to go back to places we grew up and see so much change for the worse. Thanks for the insight.
