Re: local shop install Bow Mount Minn K. Terrova
I recommend saving your money and doing it yourself. It's not hard at all. Literally just 2 wires. To mount the trolling motor onto the front plate or deck or whatever you call it, it's just 4 holes. Maybe it's 6.... Very easy. Order some 6 AWG duplex marine cables, appropriate terminal connectors, ...

Re: Login not working
Still doesnt seem to work properly, randomly. On Edge, Chrome and Firefox. I was logged in earlier today. Came back and was logged out. Tried to log back in, but it takes me back to the home page after logging in, only to be logged out still. Deleted cookies in FF. Same thing. Came back 5 mins later...

Re: Who Wants To Test My Imported LiFePO4 Batteries....
I just got my Dual Pro with lithium profile today. I hooked them up to the battery and it shows 100% charge and in maintenance mode.... The Dual Pro is bigger and much heavier. The power cord for plug-in is significantly shorter. I'm thinking 2' max It's also more expensive. I since it seems the Min...

Re: Who Wants To Test My Imported LiFePO4 Batteries....
Can you elaborate on the charging and battery types between the Lithium’s? I would be interested in them but do not want to run into other problems. I do not usually charge in my boat but my kicker has a charging circuit. Thanks! It's hard to judge the current capacity of lithium batteries. Can't t...

Re: Who Wants To Test My Imported LiFePO4 Batteries....
FishingFool, This is really such a great thread. I’m sorry that I don’t have a 24V device to help test these, but I feel like I have really become aware and learned something here. Just every once in awhile I come across a situation where another person (who’s judgement I trust), has seemingly done...

Re: Who Wants To Test My Imported LiFePO4 Batteries....
I don’t want to derail the thread, but can I ask what is different or special about these batteries? It sounds like they are a special order, fairly expensive, etc. Just wondered what made you look into the purchase. Sideburns covered the pros and cons of it but here's my situation. I use to remove ...

Re: Who Wants To Test My Imported LiFePO4 Batteries....
Dont have a 24v motor to offer, but Ive been dying to play with one of those 12v lead acid replacement lion batteries. Even thought about trying to make one out of 18650 battery cells. As far as your voltage reading, Lithium Iron Phosphate cells are "supposed" to be fully charged at 3.6 static volt...

Re: ISO: Starboard
I'm late to the party but yep, definitely Tap Plastic. They have the "King" brand, which is suppose to be more uniform and flat or so it claims. Great thing about Tap Plastic is, they will cut to order. I was pricing some Starboard a while back. Tap was the cheapest. I'm going to be using sa sheet o...

Re: Who Wants To Test My Imported LiFePO4 Batteries....
The pair cost me $780 shipped to my door. I have one of those 12v air pumps. I currently have 1 hooked up to it, to see how it does. The pump says not to run it for longer than 20 mins. Then take a 10 min rest and do it again. According to the spec online, it has an 28amp draw. Let's see if anything...

Who Wants To Test My Imported LiFePO4 Batteries....
I bought some batteries direct from China. It's two batteries for a future 24v trolling motor. The batteries showed up today and my trolling motor wont be here for a month or 2. I dont have any other 24v devices to test these batteries with. I did confirm they put out 24v, which is actually 26.3v. E...

Re: Mandate Barbless Hooks For Lake Sammamish
As a bass fisherman that fishes Lake Sammamish A LOT, I have no problems with barbless hooks. I'm not doing this for a living or tournaments. It's just a hobby for me. I just like to be out on the water and catch some fish. I do what I can to minimize the damage to fish I catch, such as pinching my ...

Hmmm, going from the top of the page in Research works. But if you use the "Quick Links" on the left side "Research", I get this error. Try the "Quick Link" on the left and see if it works for you.
