Looking for Tournament partner for electric only club in Lakewood

Post by NWrookie » Tue Nov 21, 2017 10:18 am

I currently belong to Lakewood Master Bassers, a Bass club that only uses electric motors. I have been involved since its inception but my last 2 partners are having kids and are not able to continue. Some things about me - I will turn 60 next year (yea, I am the grandpa of the group), and I have a 16' pontoon Bass Buggy that is set up for fishing. Lots of room, very comfortable. I did fish one year by myself, but not fun loading and unloading by myself. I don't smoke but it doesn't bother me. I would consider myself an average bass fisherman, I grew up in AZ and there is a lot of differences in techniques. Continuing to learn how to catch bass here in the NW.
I believe the annual dues for the club run $75 and each tournament is $10 per person. There also is a big fish of the year pool.
If interested you can check out their website (I was on the Bent Rods team)
www.lakewoodmasterbassers.com
Next years tournaments include Steilacoom, Silver (Cowlitz county), Alder, Pattison, Kapowsin, Summit and American

Just moved here from AZ and this. Sound perfect. Is it still open at all?

I am teaming up with another solo currently in the club. We have our meeting on Thursday, I will find out if there are any spots open and if anyone else needs a partner. I also moved from AZ about 10 years ago, you will find it very different fishing for bass.
