West Medical Lake - with the Jr fish slayers (video)

Post by oneshot » Thu May 16, 2013 8:36 am

I had the pleasure of taking my nephew and son fishing last week in the Medical Lake area at West Medical Lake over in eastern Wa. This lake is loaded with trout of all sizes! the boys kicked butt while i just made sure they were setup and fishing right the whole time.. and filming :) i would definitely go back to this lake next time I am over visiting..

this is on the long side for me (7min) but its for the boys before anyone else.. they watch it now and are stoked, years from now they will be stoked even more.. =D> :nemo: [thumbup]

You are the coolest dad ever! Hope we can wet a line together this season.
I like the ultra slow panning - how did you do that (or is it a secret)?
I fish not because I regard fishing as being terribly important, but because I suspect that so many of the other concerns of men are equally unimportant, and not nearly so much fun. ~ John Volker

thanks and thank you for watching!! [thumbup]

I'd love to hook up sometime if it works out. I have another boy due in July [thumbsup] so i'll be limited some this summer on getting out, but not completely. Moms gonna need a break from her 2 older restless boys and be telling us to leave i'm sure (me and my oldest son) :pirat:

the panning is done using key events with the cropping function.. basically, for all events and effects you can set the timing of those events or filters to move, intensify, etc.. its a function that will come with any professional editing software and years of using it ;)
I honed in on some more skills over the winter while making our sled and shred videos \m/
