landlocked coho salmon

recently Ive been catching landlocked salmon at lake bosworth in snohomish county, bosworth is known for good stocked trout fishing with the occasional cutthroat and fat large mouth bass, but it does not get stocked with kokanee at all... Ive never heard of anyone catching any salmon here, and the last 2 days i got 1 each day... so not a fluke, they must have a decent population of them to catch 2 of them, and on nightcrawlers no less..
my question is does anyone on this site know of this happening elsewhere, is there a lot of other lakes like this? and what should i use to try to target them specifically? typical kokanee trolling gear?
thanks for your time, and any feedback i may get.

I've fished the heck out of that lake and never seen anything but stocked RBT's. Landlocked Coho, hummmmmm. Well the standard fair, wedding rings, little hoochies and dodgers. Stop by Greg's in Lk Stevens and they'll fix you up with all the latest and greatest Koke gear. And no never heard of them anywhere but lake Stevens but then what do I know.

I take that back Cavanaugh.

This isnt the first time I have heard of Landlocked fish being caught in Bosworth. With a depth of over 70 feet it should stay cool enough to support a population. And Bosworth creek flows a ruff 1/4 mile until it meets up with the Pilchuck, which gets loaded with Coho every year. Those Coho are known for swimming up just about anything to spawn too. Lake Stevens has this happen as well.

As far as target gear, try a Dick Nite Dodger, and either a Macks wedding ring or Cha Cha squidder. 14" leader or so and tip it with your favorite bait.

Thanks for the input! Ill be targetting them on my next trip out to bosworth. Ill try a pink splatter or half &half or clown pattern dick nite dodger, and hoochies or smile blade wedding rings. (Thats all i have to work with). Thanks again.
