1st trip to merwin..... advice?

Heading to merwin reservoir friday night for the first time. planning to fish Saturday and head home in the evening. Have only caught 2 kokanee this year, freezer is empty, and it sounds like it might be fair fishing down there.... bright and healthy fish still maybe too? Wonder when they spawn in merwin?
If I can find a place to park for the night, Ill likely be towing our 17ft lund behind a 27 ft motorhome. 3 hour drive is just too much for me the morning of a fishing trip....
I kinda doubt ill find reservations at a campground (labor day weekend), and might just "wing it" Any suggestions?
Looks like speelyai is most peoples launch of choice, hope there is room for a motorhome and trailer combo to park.?
Ive been researching gear to use, gold, pink and glow dodgers seem popular. The popular pink, white, orange and green wedding rings and hoochies are well stocked in my gear collection. Fish seem to be pretty deep this time of year (50+ feet)
And the nwfr hot spots should steer me in the right direction..... This will be my first kokanee trip with a new i pilot link equipped minn kota and humminbird setup too.
..am I missing anything?
I hate being unprepaired, especially when showing up to a new place in the dark in the middle of the night.
Thanks in advance for any advice/comments
