I guess we better call for a relacement to taxi sockeye from the Baker river trap up and over the dam to Baker Lake proper. The PSE fish taxi has not transfered 1 single fish in the last 3 days while 1275 fish were caught in the trap during that time.
The returning numbers are very poor this year, but to compound this with a complete failure to bring fish up to the lake and try to keep this run healthy is poor over sight by the WDFW. I sent emails to the commisioners to get either PSE going, and or quit sending Baker Lake eggs to other facilities.
