New topic: Racfish, what's for dinner?

Post by The Quadfather » Sun Sep 21, 2008 6:50 pm

Racfish, it's sunday night... I know you're hooking up something tastey. Whatya got?
Do you ever sample the Indian section of your local grocery store, as long as it isn't Safeway or Albert. they don't have much outside of the staples. If you do go to the Indian section.. do you ever try any of those Massala or various other saucey type things in a jar? I know what you may be thinking. "Stuff in a jar, eh eh." But seriously have you tried these?
pan fry some chicken, simmer it in the sauce... add some onions, cilantro, whatever else. Put it over either rice, or just plain good artisan bread. Oh yeah...........
Gotta go the sauce is ready.

You've got this culinary board sewn up. (sp?)

I did stuffed green, and red Italian sweet peppers.Stuffed with very lean ground chuck and barley.Chopped up onions added tomatoes ,garlic, red sweet wine(blackberry wine)and baked ..Also I smoked a rack of ribs yesterday to bring to work for my employees.I do the Safeway on N.E 4th in Renton. That is a great Safeway with great or better choices then most Safeways.I very seldom do Albertsons.Theure produce is bad and their meat is ehhhhh and their seafood smells like my bait can.

When youre up to your rear end in alligators, its hard to remember that the initial plan was to drain the swamp.
