pink salmon tacos

Post by jonb » Sun Oct 04, 2015 7:54 pm

I know its old news to some, but if you havnt tried it and like salmon or tacos you really should try it. Make it exactly like you would if it was ground beef. I did this tonight, I prefer it over beef tacos now.

How I did it:
Skinless pink salmon filet and chopped onions in the pan some oil, some taco season. Cook until done. Serve on hard shell tacos with shredded romaine lettuce, salsa and mexican cheese blend. Sorry I dont measure or time stuff, I just cook willy nilly.
hi my name is john, and I'm a fishing addict.

Hey, that sounds good! Will have to try. Willy nilly is the best way to cook in my opinion. Thanks for the suggestion.

Another good one is breaded and fried chunks of salmon (fish n' chips style). I skin and pick or cut the pin bones out and then cut the fillet into serving sized chunks. Those I season, dust in flour, egg wash, and coat in bread crumbs and panko before frying. Served with chipotle tartar sauce they're killer.
