So as I start getting my menu ready for my Super Bowl party, I tested this hot wing recipe, came out pretty good. You need
1 cup Longhorn BBQ sauce
1/2 cup Franks Hot Sauce
1/2 cup of honey
1 tsp of mustard powder
1 tsp of brown sugar
2 cloves crushed garlic
3 tsp of cayenne pepper flakes ( I usually save the packets I get from Pizza hut)

Broil the wings for 10 minutes on both side then put into a crock pot. Mix all the other ingredients together and pour over the wings. Cook on low for 5 1/2 hours and serve. I usually pour more Franks on them after they are done. Very tasty!!! Any one have any other wing recipes? How about Super Bowl menus? I will serve wings, quail, duck, pheasant, walleye and perch. No deer or elk this year. I just have guests bring the dips and side stuff. I can't wait. Now what will make it awesome is if the Chargers are playing in the big one!!

I'll second that and raise you a load of wings in the smoker and then a quick bath in Daves Insanity Sauce or good ole Ring O Fire and put them back in the smoker to dry the sauce a bit. Betcha can't eat just one...........and not have a cool one.

That does sound like a good one if you like them a little on the sweet side.

Crappiemaster,

Sounds like your house is the place to be. Great menu! I hope your guests realize what a unique spread they will be enjoying. I like the crock pot idea as well. I'll bet that really makes the difference in that sauce getting into the meat. Nice touch. Happy New Year to all.

Anytime you all are in the valley, you are welcome at my place. Those wings are sweet and with a little bite to them. I love my wild game, and would probably be very miserable without it. Rac you are right though. I have to start watching what I eat a little more seriously. Borderline high blood pressure last time I was checked, so somethings have to be toned down a little. May all of you have a special 2009 and prosperity and happiness in your homes and with your families.
