It's called the petafiles. How did they think that was a good idea? Pedophilia is not a joke. I think the goal is to scare the game away from the hunter. Those things are anything but quiet. I wonder what would happen to you if you shot one. 10 year in jail? Probably reckless endangerment or something like that. Probably try to stick you with attempted murder or something.

Funny they would suggest their members fly them over people when it is seriously against the law to fly and RC aircraft over people. Kind of raises a huge liability issue for PETA, we can only hope!

What idiots, I used to be against hunting then read a little. If they're succesful and not stopped thru legal means it'll drive down license sales which will drive down revenue used to fund management and maintain healthy populations. In the end they'll hurt the animals they want to protect. A huge herd of starving deer will be awesome now won't it!

If these drones were used to ONLY catch poachers or illegal hunting practices, but we all know that wont be the case. I don't know about other states but in WA harassing wild life, whatever the intention, is illegal. So if I happen to see one trying to chase wildlife I will turn my hunting skills on finding the operator and reporting them to the police and/or game department and would encourage everybody to do the same. Its not worth jail or a huge fine, even though it would be hugely tempting, to shoot one down. The law is (as of now) on the side of the legal hunters unless we do not act and let others get away with illegal practices or change the laws to their favor.
Any time fishing is time well spent.

Idk why I ever click on these links to Peta BS. Its always the same old crap. Some a-hole behind a keyboard that has no clue about what he/she is typing about with no real facts or resources to back their propaganda up.

REALLY.........."studies" have shown that 60% of animals suffer a long agonizing death at the hands of hunters. I don't think so. I hunt a decent amount and I rarely come across a hunter (myself included) that does not have the animal drop in its tracks or very shortly after. Usually if the animal continues on a short distance afted being shot it is due to adrenalin/instinct. Do bad shots happen?.....Of course they do. Do they happen at a tune of 60%?..............I guarantee not.

A group like Peta is what happens when people are to stupid to think for themselves and get the real facts. Great name for the drones BTW........classy.

They're actually just buying the drones from these guys.

http://ardrone2.parrot.com/

At over $300 a pop for the basic setup then training time and repair parts...... and its not a steep learning curve. I'm sure we could put most PETA goofs out of business in short order. The kicker would be the assault charges for the operator attacking you with the drone and then the charges from the FAA for flying RC aircraft over people. And then there's always the chance they could become way more interested in flying RC aircraft than being a PETA member after they start to play with the drones.

It's just hype. There's no way to pull this off on a large scale.
PETA loves to annoy sportsmen and will jump at any opportunity to be in the news.

Their mommys didn't hold them enough when they were babies... :-({|=

Would like to get a few of these, then buzz PETA's corporate offices for a few hours. Maybe the homes of PETA's top officials too, in the summer while they're out doing yardwork and BBQ'ing seaweed-on-a-stick.

See just how hypocritical they really are.
