I'm always looking for a good reel at decent price, not going to spend megabucks on a reel.
Came across this - Runcl - on the net. Reels looked well built with favourable reviews elsewhere on-line. Fair price and ordered one.
Just came in. Feels real solid, smooth and easy handling! Sharp looking too! I'm pretty impressed.
Not good time for fishing, but I'll get it wet soon!

I'm not sure what you paid for this reel, but back in the day, I would refuse to pay extra money for the higher priced reels. I caught lots of fish on them and they seemed as you said here, nice and tight and smooth. At first. What typically happens to the lower priced reels is that they loosen up after limited use, then start having trouble with things like the bail not wanting to flip over, slop showing up in the handle, grinding in the bearings, and issues related to the back winding features. I'm not saying this reel will fail you, and like I said, I don't know what you paid for it. I'm just relating my past experience. Good luck with the reel and let us know how it works out. It's always nice to save a buck if quality is not compromised.
