Huge Smallmouth Bass & More Fishing At Lake Pardee

Post by eastbayanglers » Mon Apr 25, 2016 3:42 am

The Eastbayanglers

and so it was just a few hours and we landed some good fish one being LARGE so the whole battle was intense on light line had to play it just right well i also saw a red eye and am kinda curious what is the state record for redeye smallmouth? i know that one is a good one. had lots of other fish all fish healthy and they all fought hard using copolymer on 1 reel not getting bit much at all compared to my light line flourocarbon.....i know i know copolymer is stronger more abrasion resistant but i have not had many good experiences using it without it giving me issues nothing i cant deal with but i would rather deal with mono braid flouro
i have heard of people using 12 lb test copolymer to dropshot saying well as long as the water is 4 feet visability or less what do you think??
Here is the video! Check it out........

Watched the video. No worries on the state record. 8.75 lbs.
