Neah Bay?

Post by Larry3215 » Mon Sep 07, 2015 11:43 pm

Anyone been to Neah Bay recently? We are heading to the Straight on Wed for a couple of days fishing and cant decide between Neah and Sekiu.

Looking at creel reports, Sekiu is the hot spot for Coho the last few weeks. Neah on the other hand is open for wild and cliped coho and kings are open outside. Plus there are lings and rock fish to go after in Neah. The salmon creel reports for Neah are not nearly as good as for Sekiu though.

Im thinking - if its anything like the last time I was up that way - that bottom fishing will be better in Neah but salmon fishing will be better at Sekiu - I think.

Anyway, Ive gotten good recent info on Sekiu from the forums but Id love to hear from anyone who has been to Neah recently.

We are heading up to Neah in the morning. Staying at the Cape. Rumor has it the silvers are thick inside but running a little small. Supposed to be lots of kings hanging around Makah Bay. We will see.....
