frozen over lakes

Post by riverhunter » Sun Dec 20, 2015 5:35 am

With all the snow falling in the mountains and cold temps that have taking hold of most the state for the months ahead really got me thinking of ice fishing. Feel free to share safe ice near you. No pressure if you don't want to give up your favorite ice fishing hole. Pictures of your days catch if you don't mind sharing [thumbup] :nemo: :fish:

Tight line and safe fishing out there

Assuming that you are on the West side, Fish lake near Lake Wenatchee may be your closest bet via the N. end of Seattle area.

Also, Lost lake, off Stampede Pass road freezes. Kitittas county, just over I-90. It is less accessible during this time of year, but if you have the equipment to get there, you can. Have no idea though what the current ice conditions are.
