Or try a little bit of this:
http://antiquerodandreels.com/reels.html

http://classicflyrodforum.com/forum/vie ... 72&t=22892" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

http://www.oldreels.com/northwest_rm.htm

It seems if you can find one of those Lenz reels, better jump on it fast as they are quite sought after $$$$$$

So you can see why I'm still looking, as they are very hard to find. The people who collect these never sell them, and some have several in there collection. I am not a collector, I am a granddad, who wants his grand kids, to know the thrill of a running fish using one of these reels!

Based on everything you've posted - it seems these opportunities are few and far between, and you have some serious time and effort invested.

When you step to the plate - swing for the fences.

The best of luck!

I had a scare during the bidding process, when some one entered a bid wrong. It was ten times higher than intended. Would have made it very pricey. I'm looking forward to when it's in my hands. Thanks again.

I picked up my Lenz reel from the post office this morning and with a little cleaning and new line I'll be in business. :cheers:

Hello, new to this forum. I just posted some images of a LENZ fishing reel on www.Photobucket.com - type in "LENZ fishing reel" for pics. These are pics from a reel I've had a long time, and the only reason I purchased it (at a fire station yard sale to raise funds for bunks) was that it came with a blue, 'pressed' stainless metal fishing pole; and of all things, someone had written "K. N. Carmody" on the side. Carmody being my last name...go figure. Anyway I don't deep fish now. The reel is in reeeely great shape, ha. All the best, Charlie.

The link is a little janky.. it looks like an intro-advertisement to joining photobucket.
No pics come up when entering LENZ fishing reel.

Is it possible you could email pics to me at
Quadradomus@gmail.com

I assume you are looking to sell it?

Thanks

Don't know their value, do you? Sorry about the link above, sometimes photobucket works great, other times I just don't know. I see there are some other people above that have one or two for sale also, good luck. I'm glad Navy got one for the kids. All the best.
