I just saw this picture video. I had tears in my eyes. Honestly. I watched it with my dad. He swears the yellow station wagon was ours. We fished Neely Bridge area all the time.Wed start at Flaming Geyser and work our way down to the A & W on Central.LOl I remember as a kid going to Rosies Diner between Renton and Kent before 167 was even there. That was all farmland and a big bird hunting area. I had my first crush on a gal that worked at Rosies. I loved her. She would give me extra hot chocolate to take fishing in my thermos.Funny what you remember. Those were very fond days of mine.Dad and I fishing together. I couldnt been more then 7-10 in those days. He looked at the picture of Neely and thought he saw us. Great pics. Made a lil tear flow. Thats cool. Thanks for sharing this.

That was cool. Reminds me of looking at my family's photo albums and seeing my Dad and brother's fishing pics from that era. Thanks.

Im trying to post 2 pics of my and friends fishing Alki in 1972 approx..Notice that I had hair then. I was thin too. Hmmmm. We would all go to Spuds get our dinners then fish the high incomming tide for anything willing to bite the hooks.Usually doggies and Ratfish.Dig those bell bottom pants!!!!The dome was just being built then.

All I can say is "love it".

My dad sported a permed mullet during the 70's.

Man it's funny how times change along with the fads/styles. My wife and I are expecting our first child June 1st and I am really curious what I will catch flack for when he/she gets old enough to care about trends.

Very cool video. Takes me back to fishing some areas of the Skagit when I was a kid. Clothing changes, gear changes, but a steel is still a steel.
