American Lake kok video

Post by Mike Carey » Thu Jun 14, 2012 6:34 pm

Our latest video features Toni of Wannafishalure.com. Nate and I hit American lake with Toni. It was tough but we managed to get a few. The video also has footage from a trip that I did with rseas and Gringo Pescador. Thanks everyone for your help making this video!

Nice job yet again Mike and thanks for keeping my wee trout off the cutting room floor [blush]
I fish not because I regard fishing as being terribly important, but because I suspect that so many of the other concerns of men are equally unimportant, and not nearly so much fun. ~ John Volker

your "wee trout" was what, 1/4 of the catch that day? BTW, I'll be selling my Shakespere kokanee rods at the swap meet if you want a nice light action trout rod. I upgraded with a couple Okuma SST rods.

Rseas was the biggest (17inches) ...mine was the smallest (14inches)and Mike had the rod with the most action.

Mike-n-gang, another great video. This years kokanee fishing has been tough but the fish you do catch make it worth it. Toni, you sure know your stuff and it is always enjoyable to visit with you. Nate and Gringo you are fisherman through and through and you guys manage to put up with my constant chatter. The team production process and buddy boating worked well. Mike, thank you for the opportunity to participate in another WashingtonLakes.com video production.

How about Baker Lake Sockeye? Or Aug 2013 jigging Wannafish A Lure's Dash Point Specials for Pink Salmon?

You know Toni, I was talking with G-Man at the Swap Meet and the discussion turned to catching sockeye limits early AM and then going down the lake to fish for the kokanee. Means I will have to bring even more gear and rods to Baker Lake this year.

Definately another pink video is in order for next year - but we need to feature a different location so keep that in mind.

Gee, "Dash Point Special". We jig down here all the time.
Last year it was cool to be in the midst of trollers, jigging.

Consider it a date. JoAnn is disappointed this year isn't pink salmon time.
