(Updated 10/9) Still looking for missing hydrophone - west side of Whidbey Island

Dear NWFR members -
Our research group has lost a hydrophone that was deployed on the west side of Whidbey Island, just 1/2 mile west of Ault Field (the Navy base) in 115 feet of water. A crabber said that they saw it on Friday (Sept 27th), so we know it was there very recently. We scoured the area for about a mile around it in calm weather without success, so reaching out to the fishing/crabbing/boating community is our last hope. We think it's drifted elsewhere..
See the attached picture for information about the hydrophone, including pictures of the buoy and a map of the location.
We are offering a reward for it's return, so if you have any information that could help us track it down, please get in touch! Along with the data that was on it, it's a big loss for the non-profit that owns it if we can't retrieve the equipment.
You can email me for more information too - lkuehne@uw.edu.
Thank you,
Lauren Kuehne
