Well, the tournament turned out to be more successful than the first. 10 teams participated in the 2nd event with a whopping 35 pike being caught between all the teams. Of the 35 pike 28 pike were greater than 26" and with 21 of the pike were 30" or greater. The top fish were 40, 40, 38, 38, 37.5, 37.5, 37, and 37. One team caught both 40" fish on the last day of the tournament. Nate reported that my team had taken 3rd place, but that was only after the 1st day as we caught 3 pike the first day at 37.5, 33, and 28. The 2nd day was very interesting for my team as it was daylight savings and we forgot to reset the boat clock and showed up 1 hr late to weigh-in and per the rules, there is a 20 point deduction for every minute late. Had 98.5 points after the first day, but ended up with -1101.5 points after the 2nd day so we officially secured last place...

It didn't really matter as we did not catch anything the 2nd day and would have been bumped out of 3rd because of other teams performing well the last day. All fish over 26 inches were released back into the water to grow bigger. All, in all everybody had a great time with everybody anxious for another tournament. We are well on our way!!!
Oh just FYI fly fisherman won the tournament with a total of 9 fish!!
