Bragging may not bring happiness, but no man having caught a large fish goes home through an alley.

I can't believe that snow is being discussed in Wa. My wife is talking about how cold it's been and here I am at Fort Polk, La and it's supposed to be 80 today. I come home next Friday. Probably gonna freeze and catch the flu with the temp change.
Good times!! Let it snow while I'm home!!!!

Not soon enough. Fishing in the snow is so much better than raindrops the size of scallops! That is so long as the roads to get to the river are still passable. But I got me my winter tires and my chains, see if snow can stop me!

Finally came yesterday, just a skiff, and it was unpredicted. Who needs forecasters, the weather will be what it is. :-"

The weather people in the Northwest couldnt accurately tell the weather even ifin they had a direct line to the Good Lord. The best weatherpersons are the two hotties from NWCN.Those two girls are just as bad in predicting weather but they are nice eye candy so who cares about the weather.

Snow isnt so bad for me in steel season. From my house in Seward Park to the Green river there are no hills. Its really flat. All the way to Flaming Geyser. What I hate more then any snow is ICE. A 4x4 on ice is the sames as two wheel drive.I've slid off the road in the ice a few times and when next to a river ,sliding can scare the Bejeezuz out of ya.

Here is the latest advisory for the west side of the state:

Special Weather Statement

SPECIAL WEATHER STATEMENT

WEST SLOPES CENTRAL CASCADES AND PASSES-
358 PM PST SUN NOV 14 2010

...A CHANGE TO MUCH COLDER CONDITIONS IS POSSIBLE FRIDAY INTO NEXT WEEKEND...

COLD AIR IS EXPECTED TO DEVELOP OVER WESTERN CANADA DURING THE
UPCOMING WEEK. THERE ARE STRONG INDICATIONS THAT CHANGES IN THE
WIND FLOW ALOFT TOWARD THE END OF THE WEEK WILL ALLOW SOME OF THIS
COLDER AIR OVER WESTERN CANADA TO FILTER INTO WESTERN WASHINGTON
FRIDAY OR SATURDAY.

WEATHER GUIDANCE ALSO SUGGESTS THAT THERE IS A RISK OF SNOW...OR
MIXED RAIN AND SNOW SHOWERS OVER PORTIONS OF THE AREA FRIDAY OR
SATURDAY. THE HIGHEST RISK WILL BE WHERE THE AIR IS COLDER...OVER
THE NORTH INTERIOR.

WHILE WEATHER GUIDANCE HAS BEEN CONSISTENT IN SHOWING A CHANGE TO
A COLDER WEATHER PATTERN...THEY HAVE BEEN UNEVEN IN SHOWING HOW
COLD IT WILL GET AND HOW MUCH...IF ANY...SNOW WILL FALL.

NOW WOULD BE A GOOD TIME TO THINK ABOUT HOW YOU COULD PREPARE FOR
THE FIRST POSSIBILITY OF WINTER WEATHER CONDITIONS IN THE
LOWLANDS. ARE YOUR TIRES READY FOR SNOW COVERED ROADWAYS? ARE YOUR
OUTDOOR PIPES AND FAUCETS WINTERIZED?

PLEASE MONITOR LATEST FORECASTS AND WEATHER STATEMENTS AS
CONDITIONS EVOLVE THIS WEEK.
