its not even a acre in surface area, i have been told that if you make it to big that you have to purchase a lake building permit or somthing of that matter

lately it does not look so good, we have a person who lives down the road with a very nice pond that once supported large large rainbows, but the newest owners put koi or somthing in it and had the rainbows fished out. but there pond is there year round but we couldent keep enough water in it to support fish but yet we are only about 200-300 yards away from them. we tried lining it with a clay like substance called betonite (used to seal wells) but the water washed it down before it was able to expand and seal. so now i dont even know if we are going to have a pond, just a large hole in the ground that in the winter you can practice casting in. haha

How do u know that then Catfish and Bluegill are even still alive or in the creek? Ur dad lives in Hockinson right? So, how close to BG lake are you? U need to show me ur personal pond when we all decide to hit BG lake, we can make a pit stop. Even if theres no water in it, Im still interested in seeing what u have got so far. Maybe if we catch ourselfs some trout at BG, we can put them in ur pond =)

Now that I have seen your pond in real life, I have figured that It takes a lot of work to make a huge pond. You have to put a lot of sweat and blood into Digging and Structuring it all out. Im definitely interested in how your fish will survive in such an Impacted space compared to there original habitat. Best wishes with completion!

Hey,
If you just have a hole in the ground for the winter it is goining to be alot easier for Santa to get to your Christmas trees used for structure. I heard his scuba gear is getting old, and if Rudolph's nose is anything like the brake lights on my trailer...:santa:
