Haven't posted here for awhile.
Felt this fish was trophy worthy.
My new Personal Best at 7.8lbs caught night fishing with a frog.

3 throws of my rapala split shad off the shore @ american lake (on ft lewis) and he was on.. biggest fish ive ever caught, usually just get crappie, or perch on it..
was fun fighting him in on my 6' ugly stick with 8lb test.
didnt get him weighed.. wish i would have though, cause he was deff more than 6 pounds..

I used to do most of my fishing at night, many years ago. Now I like to sleep at night. [laugh]

Im young so getting 4 hours of sleep doesnt effect me. When the lakes i fish get as much daytime pressure as they do the best time to get the big girls to eat is when they feed at night. Even if i cant see those big mamas can.

[laugh] Double the size of that jig and that fish will still eat it. Not to mention even bigger bass.
