Hey had a chance to get out and do some Chinook fishing up at Brewster with one of my good friends Jimmy ( Bad to the Bone ) Kearney, picked me up at my house 2:30 am, Jimmy asks me do you have a extra net cause I forgot mine, sure I do, throw net in his boat and hit the road, 2hrs 15 min later arrive at Brewster launch boat getting stuff ready in boat and Jimmy says UH OH! You ain't gonna believe this? And my reply was "What ", I forgot the downriggers and I thought very carefully about my next response and said Oh well we can make due. Got rigged up with 6oz banana weights and leader to dodger and Brads super baits stuffed with sardines, which Jimmy ate two right out of the can and replied "Man" these things taste good! Started trolling out in front of Okanagan, 5min later Jimmy jumps up and yells "FISH ON" the fight was on and 15 min later 20lb wild Chinook along side the boat, which we immediately let go. Then nothing for the next 13hrs, from 5 am to 6pm, what a long day! ! Then it was my pole that started jumping up and down "Fish On", after a long 20 min battle 27lb King "Keeper" in the boat with lots of fist bumping. Tight Lines Keep Reelin "
