Hit the water around 9 am and fished till 1. Was trolling gold and silver dick nite spoons. Got a nice brown to the boat but threw the hook. Trolled from east to west and had several hook ups on small rainbows and browns.The wind picked up so we hid behind a island and threw toward shore. That was the ticket for alot of action. Caught and released about 20 rainbows from 7 to 10 inches. 1 rainbow at 20 inches and about 15 brown trout from 10 to 20 inches. Took my boy out and he had a blast, and taught him the importance of catch and release since we already have a freezer full of fish from last years deep sea fishing trip. Great day, just wondering when this wind will stop????
