The treble in the finger looks like a absolutely horrible situation to be in. I was able to try out another version of barbed hook removal, that used downward pressure on the hook eye and shank before yanking the barbed hook out. No doubled string involved in this method, and is also published on youtube.

10/29/2015 2:41:00 PMYes- Learn how to get it out. I got hooked on Banks Lake. We went to the Electric City Clinic to get it out. The Doc cut it eye off then pushed it threw. Cost me $649.

10/29/2015 3:02:00 PMYeaaa, it wasn't too fun especially since the fish was still attached the first time we tried to remove it. I like the string way if there isn't another hook to get tangled up in. Had a hello kitty band aid for his troubles
